In our older toddler room we create an environment that engages the very busy and curious minds of our toddlers and promotes self-help skills such as potty training, dressing and feeding ourselves, and cleaning up our toys.

We also focus on expanding our vocabulary and using the words we know to express our wants and feelings.
Our weekly themed lesson plans, using the Creative Curriculum, paired with the PA Learning Standards for Early Childhood, include daily art projects, language development through finger-plays, singing, nursery rhymes, and story time, hands-on sensory exploration at our sensory table, fine and gross motor skill building, and so much more, all of which are aligned with the Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Early Childhood.

In toddlers, we begin learning about colors, shapes, and numbers and counting to help us prepare for preschool.

Room Capacity: 10
Teacher to Toddler Ratio: 1 to 5 (or 1 to 6 if all children are ages 2 and up)
