Preschool: 3 Year Olds

preschool standards.jpg

Our preschool classroom is designed to promote independence growth and problem solving skills which partners with our curriculum which is also designed to promote these skills through open ended and dramatic play along with teacher guided lessons.

We also begin focusing on and learning letters and their sounds, recognizing, spelling, and writing our first and last names, numbers, sight words, and many other skills needed to ensure PreK readiness. In addition to gaining cognitive skills, strong friendships find their beginnings in preschool as social skills continue to develop and their desire to play with others grows.

We are also blessed with a large, fenced in, playground that houses our chicken coop, our GOAT pen (yes we have goats), a large garden, butterfly garden, along with other unique gross motor equipment, hobbit house, wooden tractor, train, and pirate ship, and tee-pees.

Room Capacity: 16
Teacher to Child Ratio: 1:10
