In our toddler room we are focused on keeping our curious minds engaged and learning. From song and dance to story time to getting messy with art we are always moving and exploring. We are also working on our social and emotional skillls.
Our weekly themed lesson plans, using the Creative Curriculum, paired with the PA Learning Standards for Early Childhood, include daily art projects, language development through finger-plays, singing, nursery rhymes, and story time.
In toddlers, not only are we building and strengthening our motor skills, but also developing our social and emotional skills. We place a large emphasis on using our words to be able to express these emotions along with our wants and needs to encourage their ever growing vocabulary.
